well with work cutting hours. and my car being down lately. its time to head out of this town for a little R & R. so me and silvia are heading up the coast today into tomorrow to visit our friends maddie and jesse in SLO. needless to say. tonight is gonna be epic. I'm eagerly awaiting also to see the scenery on the way up. its always quite a sight. So after I have my interview today at carmax which I hope I get so I can get my car back out on the track (more money). I'm out of this place. pics to come when I get back. good day.

nothing really too exciting going on right now as I'm trying to find balance in finances and save the race compound IE the home/shop. my family is currently under going some hardships and i'm just praying we pull out of them. as for car life. 50 is still having carb issues. spits and sputters. dies occasionally. i'll have to tear into her one of these days. taco needs a well deserved brake upgrade. new front end LT kit due to my ball joints cracking and brakes. no money to do that. 240 is fine til my clutch desides to go out. but needs new tires all around due to my wheel change (pics below). I also took a trip recently with my passenger seat driver. it was good to get out of the same stuff to recharge my batteries. see some different scenery. it was exactly what I needed.

= plan how to get this m45 I've been looking at in my life. decided prolly the best way is too dump the truck on the dealership. take a loss. hopefully get like 13,000 for it. then pick up the m45. and pay off some bills. but at least I'll be happy in the end. best case scenareo. lets just see if this all goes down

also picked up the most thug girl i've ever met from work. picked up some in n out. and ended up at the broooooocean. then went off to the wonderful land of yogurt. loved the weather/atmosphere of today, and the chill vibe of doing nothing but randomness felt so relaxing and perfect.

has been slow lately. been barely scraping by with bills and such, here are the status of both the fun cars

240 is holding together. survived another track day. may need to be either replacing the clutch soon and or throwout bearing. but whenever I release the clutch pedal something is making noise down below, this is intermitently though so we'll wait til it happens everytime.

I also decided to bump up tire sizes to a 225 40. it sits super flush now and I can get a little more grip. I'd have to say I'm happy with the results. the fronts however are rubbing pretty bad against the fender wells whenever I hit large bumps. so I'll have to address that soon.

as for my 50

its been sitting due to my gas tank leaking more. and me and my dad re did the exhaust system in it but it decided to break a hangar. so we'll have to address that soon also

so me my dad and his girlfriend nicci decided to grab a bite to eat to spend some time together since I've been working so much lately on the weekends. I have to say this was nice since we hardly ever talk since are schedules never give us time to do so.

me and teddy went on a little adventure today to go see a possible trade for his hatch. needless to say. we were a bit dissapointed.

well it was about lunch time and we saw a sonic so we decided to hardpark it up. this bro is so cool.

teddys hatch is so clean and street style. I love it. but whenever I think of my car being like that I just can't get myself to do it. we'll see when its time to redo mine

so onward yet again. the dude who was supposed to show us the car. forgot the keys too it. so he picked us up. grabbed the keys. then went to his work where the car was stored

and here it is. the elegant royal presidente.... or so we thought

now. the car as a whole was in ok shape. the sketchy things were. it had a bad battery. but even so it would've still ran after getting jumped. alternator maybe? the interior had some trim fit issues. and some damage to the leather. now the bothersom parts.. the car is on an oem hydro system to raise and lower it. it wasn't working at first after the guy spent like five mins fiddling with it for god knows why. also the car wasn't driveable... thats right. the passenger front unit had a leak causing it not to be engaged which means no lift. how is teddy supposed to get around day to day with this problem. and onto the even funnier thing. teddy opened the sunroof and we though oh this is cool. when we go to shut it. it got stuck lol. so ultimately the car was not in a daily shape. it didn't even have the front end on it. so it would ultimately take some work and money to get it going. I think teddy has made the decision to keep his red beauty.

chill day off from work. its weird. when I know I'm gonna be off. I feel like "dang i'm gonna get so much done. I'll do this this and that." of course.. that never really happens lol. it was a chill day today. woke up did the double S. not tripple as I didn't shave today. my dad made some bomb burritos as he decided to stay home as well. After that we took princess jessica to work at her second home nordstrom. Then from there we headed over to pegasus hobbies in montclair. that place is so sweet for the hobby enthusiest. I was going to pick up a model but this week blows cause I'm barely making my bills so i gotta chill out with the spending, even though I want a million things. After that we went and looked at some tools to buy in the future which include another angle grinder, a new jack, a welder, and much much more. everything is so cheap there. I love it. After that we headed back to the "race facility" as my dad calls it. and I decided why not get the 240 over here finally. since it has been stuck at my moms since the clutch went out. so I called up Jans towing. met them there. and here it is now. in my driveway. I guess I did get quite a few things accomplished today. no pictures though for all you picture viewers though. I did find this cool pic though. Goodnight all.

I was gonna work on the 50 a little bit but I was just so beat. so I just ended up cleaning the rivi and the 50. bassically just wiped off all the water spots on them. after that jess called me up and wanted something to eat. so I met her and jamie and we went to red robin where we had some bomb food. then after a little target trip before we headed home. cruised the 50 a little bit since the weather was so beautiful. then this pinchadero showed up

as it has become known as is currently at universal air getting its air suspension redone. just getting a new tank and will run 2 compressors going into that, as well as replacing some leaky fittings. I can't wait til it gets back.

not much I can do with what I have til the new parts arrive so I went ahead and put a toggle so that the compressor wouldn't continuosly run. the story with that is that the PSI shut off switch either broke or somehow got disconnected. so when the tank reaches full psi the compressor does not turn off. so I put in a toggle so that I can shut it off when desired. but it also doubles as a security precaution as well so that no one can drive it away since it lays rail lol

at fixing my coilovers today. the story goes.. my passenger front wasn't adjusting at all. so I went the the hardware store, bought some t handle allen wrenches and some wd40. sprayed the hole inside. waited a few mins. then tried turning it. I didn't want to force it as I would prolly end up breaking something inside the coil. and with a snap it started to adjust. put the front on four clicks and it feels so much better. the car isn't as bouncy which doesn't make me look like an idiot driving down the road. now for part 2... went to town on the back which is the rear driver side. did the same as front. it made the snap started to adjust. but then it wouldn't stop adjusting. sooo.. in conclusion. i'm pretty sure I busted something. replacements are $100 bucks. dunno if I should just leave it cause full hard is pretty stiff already. or go ahead and replace it. I guess time will tell.

went to irvine and laguna with jess. had an amazing time. did many things that we don't really do. and that makes the time that much more enjoyable. I shot down the whole weekend with a stupid move tonight though. idk why I don't think and am such an idiot. I always ask myslef that question. the future is coming quick. I'm moving out. and it sucks. my family will finally be broken up. its been hard. I remember when we used to do everything together. but now. i'm mostly alone. by myself. I guess I've come to learn more about myself through all this time alone. But I kinda wish I hadn't as most of these discoveries. I don't really like.

I really havn't been able to update. been busy getting the car together and taking care of personal affairs. car is pretty much ready to drift. just gotta do some basic tech stuff and I'm ready to go. me and jess are also happily back together. through some passionate talking we gladly worked alot out and our doing really well. I'm about halfway through UTI and that makes me happy as well. I can't wait to get out, although work is suck right now for the auto industry. today was chill. spent the night at ry's house. met his fam. they were all super nice. and his house is awsome. we went out last night and went all around yorba linda checking out all the sights. my 240 definately needs to get out there. and it will when I get it back. I came home when he had to go to work. washed the taco for the weeks haul to school, all was pretty good then this afternoon had to ruin it. got some bad news. got mad beyond belief. there is nothing to do tonight. so I decided to do some tests on my fifty out of my anger. it needs an oil change. and a plug real bad. prolly gonna have to redo the whole ignition system too. I was gonna put the motor in a new chassis, but i'll prolly have to rebuild the motor before that. hmm. maybe i'll bore it to a 125 and throw a five speed on it. perhaps... perhaps.. perhaps...

(rancho all week, glendale yesterday) front end lost a few stitches and fell off as I drove around the block to asses a noise my car was making. so I took the whole thing off to re stitch and install it better for the week.

as for some upgrades... I got some goodies from a friend at the meet last friday

drilled and slotted 30mm rotors
z32 front calipers =]

and steel braded lines.

I'm also gonna be converting to five lug. I'll hopefully have the front done by the end of this month. for wheels I will be running these thanks to a homie of mine who dedicated to my cause. thanks dax!

I think I may need smaller tires though. time will tell..

its been raining for the past couple days and usually this would be fun for me (you know why) but since the 240 didn't pass at the refferee yesterday i've been trying to figure out what to do on top of other things on my mind.

on the upside of things.... the cressida got a new set of brakes this week courtesy of my good friend ryan. yeahyaaaaaa!

but I did get some weird weather on the way in to school this morning. there was really thickfog from my commute from covina to rancho. it cleared up about monclair though. the way home was the opposite. all bright and sunny, then a crazy fog just rolled in. I snapped a few photos of it

after this I went out to luch with my dad and went to his freind pauls house in the 240. when I came home I got a pleasent suprise that was waiting for me, as well as a hug and a kiss =)

today was a little ruff around the edges so I decided to get out and escape the world by taking the cressida to a local touge. Up there I met a pretty cool dude named georgio. talked to him about some stuff and reflected on my problems and thoughts. then cruised it to the top. then back down and went home. On my way home I ran into my biggest thought today. We talked for awhile. got everything out, and now the world is all in order and I'm thankful for that. but now I'm gonna study for my final tomorrow cause I need to ace it.

so work is really gonna start. well by work I mean things I have to do to so that my legality problems go away. but first off I need to buy some new tires for the cressida as of after my daily drive today they are now showing cord. booo. second is get the 240 to pass smog and make sure all checks are acounted for for the state reff. but one thing that is really bugging me is that my stupid seat is still not in my car. hopefully my rail will come next week and I can change that.
